I'm trying to develop a list of all resorts (and the room options and details at each) that have rooms available with multiple sleeping areas. What I mean is a room where people can sleep in two different rooms (ie 1BR or larger Villas would quality as there is a pull-out couch in one room, and a bed in another, Family Suite at AoA and ASMu, etc). Please provide your list of resorts and room options accordingly.

Other than the villas you mentioned, Art of Animation Suites, All Star Music Suites.

Fort Wilderness Cabins has a double bed and a set of bunk beds in the bedroom with a fold out bed in the living area.

There are also some suites with separate bedrooms and a sleep sofa at Coronado Springs in the preferred section building 1, priced more for corporate use than for a family but families have booked them when they are not blocked for conferences.

Also some upscale concierge level rooms with one or two bedrooms at many of the deluxe resorts, like the cottages at Boardwalk Inn, various suites at Polynesian, GF, BC, YC, Contemporary.

All deluxes and DVC resorts would have such accommodations, although some would be very expensive.

AoA and ASMu and Ft. Wilderness Cabins have rooms with separate sleep areas.

The other values do not and the PO resorts don’t, that I know of. Not sure about Coronado.

Deluxe rooms at WL have a BR and LR. They also have access to the Club lounge.

I agree with what everyone else said, but I didn't see Old Key West mentioned.
I have stayed at the cabins also which is nice.
My faves are Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge Villas but if you don't want to spend that much I would look at Ft Wilderness Cabins and/or Old Key West first. Good Luck!

OKW is DVC. All DVC resorts will have villas with multiple sleep areas. At Poly, this requires a bungalow, but still qualifies.

(Non-DVC Poly has $uites.)

I've found that getting two rooms is cheaper then getting one larger room w/ multiple sleeping areas. However if you want to have separate areas for parents and kids then pretty much what everyone else said is good. We stayed at AKL in a 2 bdrm villa and found that we really didn't need a kitchen at all. However having 3 bathrooms was great!

Is there anywhere to see the floor plans for all of the room options (other than DVC villas)?

I would check out all ears website they have very thorough resort accommodations, photos, floorplans, etc for each room type http://allears.net/acc/faq_hot.htm

I have found that some of the pics are sort of dated on some but on the resorts that have been refurbished recently, you can find new pics of those else where on the internet.
