I just reserved a 1BR Preferred View at BWV for Dec 2 - 6. I couldn't get a Standard View. If anyone is interested in early Dec, you better act quickly.

The standard view rooms for your time frame were probably booked up within a few days of the 11 month window. I called day by day to get my standard view reservation for the following week. You might have luck with the waitlist if you really want a standard view. Since you booked a Prefered view, did you ask about the Boardwalk view category? Wondering if any of those are still left.

Not the OP, but I changed my BW view studio to a 1 BR about a week or two ago for Dec. 4-8 and could not get BW view, only preferred.

I didn't even ask about the BW view, because I had one last year and found it to be kind of noisy. We were right in front of the arcade games and that bell was going off all the time. This trip, I'll take the view of the clown.

We had our first Boardwalk view room last year, too. While I didn't find the location noisy, the view just wasn't special enough to overcome the incredible bargain we get booking standard view.

Lots of people do like the Boardwalk view, though. Until your post, I thought maybe I was the only one who doesn't think they're all that great.
