Has anyone seen the Roomba Discovery for Pets for sale anywhere in Canada (preferably Calgary)? It's what the boyfriend wants for christmas and who am i to argue with a man who wants a vacuum as a gift? The only place i can seem to find it online is the Roomba website and i hate getting nailed with exchange rate/duty/taxes on top of the delivery charges. Thanks dudes.

Never heard of it. Assuming it is a pet vacuum? I would call Pet Planet at the south Spa/Kennel location. She may know where to get one or even be able to order it in for you!

What's the difference between the Roomba Discovery and the Roomba Discovery for Pets? I didn't know the latter existed.

If it's the Brush that you use on your pets, the Shopping Bags reviewed it and said better to use a regular brush.

Have you tried the Home Shopping Network? They seem to have everthing!

Good Luck!

It's an automatic vacuum robot. You just push a button and it makes its way around your room vacuuming while you're doing something else, then, when it's done it goes back to the base station to charge itself. The "Discovery for Pets" model is just a small upgrade from the regular "Discovery" model. It' has brushes that pick up hair better than the standard "Discovery". Also, since "Discovery for Pets" is a newer model, it has an improved wheel system that doesn't get clogged up with pet hair (or so the online review say.)

Try those stores in the malls that sell stuff that's advertised on tv. Y'know...they have the Magic Bullet blender, all kinds of exercise equipment and other stuff that's on infomercials.

You could also try Costco. They used to have the Roomba (the regular one).
