Any one have a good idea for a room theme and colors for a 14 year old girl?!?! i will take any ideas and if u can find pictures i would like to c them and know where it is from thanks

I just finished redoing my room (I'm 13, almost 14, so I'm around your age). The colors are blue and green and I have polka dots all over the place. I mainly got stuff for my room for pbteen.com, it has a lot of cute stuff...

i'm doing a tropical theme for my college dorm room this year. it's basically gonna be all cheapish party store decorations and my mom got flamingo christmas lights that we are gonna hang up. then i found a bunch of beach themed wooden signs. and we also have a bunch of leis that were super cheap that we'll hang around the room.

i'm estatic to decorate =) lol

right now my room is "french" themed & black & white .

mine is kinda a modern/cultural/adultish theme. grey walls with white trim, and black and white photos of cities up. white desk, white dresser. there's a few things that make it "kiddish", like my dumbo stuffed animals, but it's me.

i second pb teen. they have some cute stuff, but i like the style of my room to be a bit more updated, modern, mature, whatever.

You should put like a gigantic picture of Kenny Chesney over the bed. That'd be awesome.

To the OP: Maybe your favorite colors? I'm not sure. I don't have a room 'theme' I just have..random stuff everywhere.

my room is beach themed sandy coloured walls then the bed spread and the book shelf are blue...i also have beach type pictures, shells, etc. all over the place

I painted my room purple when I was thirteen. Let me tell you a secret: It was a very bad idea. lol.

It's a really annoying color and doesn't match anything at all. I'm saving up for this comforter and sheets: http://www.gaiam.com/product/eco-ho...ets-bedding/organic+cotton+fiore+sheet+set.do
And I'm going to paint my room (Most likely the room I get when I move out.) That red and white. I'm trying to decide if I want to paint it white and paint those kinds of flowers stemming from the carpet or red and have white flowers. Then I'll have black and white photos in frames.

Just make sure you're going to like it in the future. Mine feels really childish and it needs to be more sophisticated for my tastes right now. I wouldn't go for too bright of colors, but do whatever you please! Just giving out some ideas, good luck!

My room doesn't have a theme, but each wall does. It's kinda crazy but my tastes have changed like every year so my parents got tired of me wanting to change my room constantly. I love blue so all of my walls are that color. One of my walls is sports so I've got pictures and posters of my favorite teams and players. One wall is pictures of my friends and family. Another is music with posters, pictures, stickers and things of my favorite bands. The last wall is mostly made up of my closet but around it I have photo stuff. I've got blank negatives and some of my work on the walls.

PBTeen has some awesome stuff and collections so your whole room can match. But it is expensive.
Check out Ikea and Target too. They have good stuff as well.

Mine was purple when I was 4. It STILL is even after all my years of complaining.

It faded into yucky purple/brown.

It's all hearts..and...just..totally not me.

I want a room that I will like as an adult, thats not dark, thats not...boring either.

I was thinking like a light tan?

I'm still deciding about my room too.
It's a pretty tough choice to make.
