Room Suggestions For CSR

We have a couple of nights booked for our upcoming trip at the CSR. Was wondering if there is a good thread or if anyone had a good room recommendation. We would probably want something close to the main pool.

We have stayed in the Cabanas section, building 8A. It is right by the Dig Site Pool. Many of the Ranchos buildings are also close to the pool. Casitas buildings seem to be the farthest from the main pool.

We stayed in Ranchos in 2002, and our room was overlooking the quiet pool, and just a short walk from the themed pool. Ranchos was a great section.

I suggest cabana 8a (old number, new numbers are 8a, 8b and 8c) as the closest to the Dig Site and then rancho 7b (now 7f, 7g, 7h) and 6b (6e, 6f, 6g). CSR recent redid the number of all the buildings.

We just stayed in 7b, it was very close to the dig site and it also has a quiet pool. I noticed 8a was near the dig site too, some of the rooms were just a side walk away!
Enjoy your stay, we really liked CSR.

Casitass 4 and 5 are also pretty close to the Dig Site.

I also recommend Cabana 8A.

cabanas are great. we had a fun playing kick ball with the kids down in the grass and spent many afternoons laying in a hammock with the kids played in the sand. it was soooo close to the bus stop, dig site and main building.

I'm here now. Cabana 8A would definitely be a good one. We are in 8B which is perfect. SHort walk to dig site, very short walk to quiet pool, steps away from beach w/hammocks and a decent walk to El centro.

We were in Casitas 4. Very close to one of the bus stops, El Centro and a bit of a walk to the Dig Site but not bad.
