Room suggestions at POP

We will be staying at the POP in April & had decided not to get a Preferred room. decided that would be an extra 100.00 for Disney & a nice walk. Any suggestions on which area to request? we will have 4 children in our group & a vehicle. TIA!!!!!

We were there last August and we were in the 60's building but facing the lake. These I think are still non-preferred rooms. It was nice and quiet but not to long of a walk to the pool and food court. Enjoy you will love POP it's such a fun resort and I love all the colors!

The resort is still on the new side. If it were me, with a car, I would try to get in the 50's section, bldg 2 or maybe 1. 2 backs up to the parking lot.
The bldgs in 80 do also.
I have stayed in both those sections and the walk isn't bad at all. And it's very quiet to boot.

We stayed at Pop last summer and we did not book a preferred room. We were placed in the 70's (6000 building...still not preferred I don't think) but outside our door we could see the food court back entrance in one direction and the lake straight ahead. Directly next to us was a 60's building (where the cute Goofy Sprinkler/Fountain thingy was) and the Hippy Dippy pool was just on the other side of that. We loved that location. However, we used the bus system and you mentioned you were using your car. The room we had was not super close to a parking lot. Have a great trip and enjoy Pop.

We did the non-preferred in Jan of 2008. We had 50's building room 2662. First floor and 25 feet from the bowling pool. GREAT location.

We toured the whole resort. If you have a car, the 90's is a solid pick, but if you are not in a car, uggh bad spot.

We felt all of the 80's were "bad" spots to be in also.

Honestly, grab anything in the 60's or 50's first floor and you will be fine
