Room service???

Having never cruised before, please forgive me if this is a foolish question.
I have seen on Dave's dcltribute site a "stateroom menu". Is that the only dinner menu available for in room dinning on board??? I know that the dinning is "a big deal" while on a cruise, but I am suprised to think that you can only order pizzas/mac 'n cheese/hot dogs etc.. We will be in a suite that includes a dinning room area, so I was thinking we'd have the option of ordering in a nice dinner (like you can at any of the WDW Deluxe hotels ).

Does anyone know if there is a more extension menu avaliable for an in-room dinning experience on the Wonder? Thanks in advance!

Enjoy the suite life! We stayed in a Cat. 3 and can't say enough good things about it.

As a suite guest you get concierge service. They will drop off the full dining room menu each afternoon in case you decide to eat in your cabin. We did this a few times and had wonderful meals. (I must admit that the regular room sevice menu offers a wonderful grilled cheese sandwich and choc. chip cookies).

If there's anything you need, your concierge team will be happy to arrange it for you: videos and cd's, ship tours, wine tasting, excursions, food/beverage, etc.

I appreciate the words of encouragement! It's not that we wouldn't want to experience the onboard eateries...but I'd like to plan one night with an in room nice dinner, and since our stateroom has a piano, and I've learned here that you can hire a piano player, I think my DW would appeciate a nice surprise night where we eat in our room, with some nice music too! Thank you again!

FYI: We were given a tour of your suite on our last cruise. It is beautiful! The large windows and light wood give it an open and airy feel. It reminded us of a suite at a Four Seasons Hotel -- elegant, but comfortable. Have a wonderful trip!

That sounds lovely! The cruise is a surprise for DW, but it sounds like she'll love it! I can hardly wait to see what personal photos they choose to put in there from Walt!

Oh, and one correction to your post....DW is not "the lucky one"...I am!
