What do you like to order from room service? Is room service offered 24 hours?

Yes...you can order room service anytime you want. Some of our favorites are.....The salads....THEY ARE SO GOOD! Turkey sandwich, all hands on deck cheese platter, and chocolate chip cookies.

All the food is free except some beverages. And of course, they expect a tip. :)

Can you charge the tip to your room, or do you need cash?

If you order from the menu and there is no charge there is no way to charge the tip (we found this out the hard way as I had NO CASH!! Long story) So each time we ordered we made sure to order a soda or something so that there would be a charge slip.

chicken tenders, mac and cheese and chocolate chip cookies. Krispy Kremes were good in the morning for your wake up call. Yes, tip each time and in cash. $2 per visit unless you are ordering a lot of food is about right.

if they have boston cream pie or apple pie? Since our honeymoon, every night that we spend together in a hotel we order (either through room service or find a restaurant nearby that offers it) a slice of boston cream pie for my husband and I order a piece of apple pie. It's a weird tradition, I know.

If you want something specific, like your pies, you will need to call and ask each day. They have different desserts every day. They sometimes have Boston Creme Pie for dessert at the restaurants and at Topsiders buffet. I don't recall ever seeing apple pie offered. I would have tried it if they had. But then again, I missed several nights' dinners, so.....

Our favorite room service was having coffee, fresh fruit and other breakfast goodies delivered very early in the morning. We had our coffee and nibbled while we got dressed each morning. We then went to the buffet breakfast.

We followed a tip that I found on these boards: We took a bunch of dollar bills and left them in the drawer of the night stand, so we never had to look for tip $$. This worked great!

We did not have any small cash one night and asked if we culd charge the tip. We were told to ask for the slip when they delivered the Hot Chocolate (to die for). Felt stupid charging a dollar, but it was better than nothing.
