Room Service

I asked this on one of my other posts, but haven't received an answer yet so I thought I'd start a new thread.

My dh insists on room service. He loves having his coffee & pastries delivered first thing in the morning. Do the resorts have room service? Also, what is the benefit of having concierge in the deluxe resorts?

Sorry for all the questions, but this will be our first visit to WDW and there's so much to ask.

sasha I did post an answer on the other thread, but here it is again. Full room service is available at the deluxe resorts. I also think it is available at the Coronado Springs because it is a convention hotel, but I am not sure. I know the YC/BC hotels very well and the room service there is great. The area is perfect too being that you can walk to Epcot.
As far as what Concierge gives you. I have never stayed concierge but from what I understand they will help you with vacation planning before you leave home (priority seating, book shows etc), you get checked in at a different desk instead of the usual place, There is lounge that offers food and drinks. From what I hear most people get enough for breakfast at the lounge( bagels, pasteries, muffins etc) but for lunch and diiner the food is more for snacks. Most people can't make a meal of it. The rooms are basicall the same size and decoration. That's all I know!

I don't want to mislead you. You can get pizza delivered to the moderates and you should look into the Coronado Springs. It is a moderate and may do room service to some extent. I still think the Epcot resorts are the best for location and theme however. I just don't want you to think the deluxes are the only options.
