Room service is free. All you would pay for are any beverages that cost, such as soda, bottled water or alcholic beverages.

We do tip the room service servers a few dollars in cash, though, so be sure to bring along some ones for that.

I order room service coffee, juice and sometimes breakfast foods for my girls. Even if we plan on eating a breakfast in the restaurants, we still get early morning coffee to enjoy on the verandah..

Sometimes I ordered cheese crackers, fruit for late afternoon snacks. Also enjoyable with a glass of wine on the verandah. We did do a couple of lunches with room service also, but never dinner.

We like to order a light breakfast, particularly when we have a verandah...sitting out there and enjoying coffee and rolls is a great way to start the day. I've also ordered some items for snacks, such as the chili, and everything I've ordered has been very good. You can pre-order your breakfast the night before, and they are VERY prompt about arriving when you have specified.

We just got back from the Magic yesterday (boo hoo) and the room service was great. We had a cheese and fruit platter several days for a pre dinner snack and it came promptly. Our teenage daughters enjoyed the room service feature greatly!

One of the highlights of our first cruise was breakfast on the verandah every morning. We never did make it to any of the other breakfast locations.

I have a feeling out two teens are going to feel the same way. I have told them that they are responsible for tipping and I'd better not catch them forgetting.
