how does room serive at the deluxe resorts work on the dining plan...i know pizza delivery is a few quick service credits.....but im looking into deluxe resort and want to know how the room service works....im looking at the contempory resort or wilderness lodge resort

2 adult TS credits for each adult meal and 2 children's TS credits for each kids meal. A 'meal' is whatever is designated by the plan. For breakfast: 1 breakfast entree and 1 beverage per 'meal'. For lunch and dinner on DDP: 1 entree, one beverage and one dessert. For lunch and dinner on DxDP: 1 app, 1 entree, one beverage and one dessert. They come to your room and set up a really nice table, with linens, a flower, condiments, etc.

Room service at deluxes don't take QS credits.

Don't know about pizza.

yes it's 2 TS credits per meal (same as if you went to a signature restaurant).
You don't have to order for each person.
We had the deluxe plan and ordered lunch at AKL.
But we only ordered 1 (so 2 credits).
app was a cheese plate and breads
entree was a huge club sandwich with fruit salad
dessert was a trio of desserts.
drink powerade
It is considered in-room dining.
The CM came in and cleared the table in our room, put down a white table cloth and set the table, added a flower, a selection of mini bottled condiments, cloth napkins.
It was a very nice option for relaxing in our room and the service can't be beat!
And with the 2 credits...all tax and gratuity is also included.
That lunch with the added service fees would have been over 50 dollars.
We really enjoyed it and the special treatment.
(I wouldn't dare spend the credits with the pizza delivery!!)

we did it one trip where hubby was suddenly called home for work (we had deluxe dining so being down a person left us with a LOT!)

So me and the two kids ordered from BLT and just with the three of us we were over $200 ~ but did use 6 dining credits. I wouldn't typically do it... but we were going to have some left over anyway and that night I was a little too sad to go out with the kids. Totally worth it in that case.

Pizza delivery is TS credits, not CS credits. They're only CS credits if you go to the food court, order the pizza, and eat it there or carry it out yourself. It is TS credits (and they must be adult credits) to have the pizza delivered to your room.

Be cautious ordering pizza delivery at the deluxe resorts that have room service. A pizza is considered a room service meal for 2, so they'll charge for 2 meals, and each room service meal is 2 credits. That is 4 TS credits for one pizza. At resorts that don't have room service, it costs 2 TS credits to have a pizza delivered.
