Room Service at BLT

Hi all!

Looking forward to our first stay at BLT. We're thinking of ordering room service from BLT. I gather that it will come from the Contemporary which is fine. How is the service and is the food hot when it comes? Does it come in styrofoam containers or on covered plates? Interested in ordering breakfast and dinner at least once. Just looking to see what your experience has been. Any recommendations?

We did breakfast room service. Everything was fine when it came. Our daughter had pancakes and they were warm. We had cereal and fruit, so nothing to keep warm. They did forget the fruit and I had to call for it.

It comes on a tray under those tin plate covers like a real hotel - no styro.

The only issue we had is it's incredibly overpriced, especially after room service fees and automatic 18% gratuity. But, that's no different than any hotel.

Perfect! Hot, plentyful, dishes and perfectly arranged on our table. We have ordered several time at BLT and never been disappointed!

Ordered room service there on my last trip to WDW, no styrofoam, everything was on plates. Great key lime pie at this resort

We had dinner and were horrified at the food definitely not what we expected from a deluxe resort. In fact it was so bad that we asked for a refund and got one

Yikes! That's not good Thanks for the head's up. Not sure I'll try it, especially given all the fees. Doesn't sound like anything too stellar. It might just be easier to head over to CR and grab something myself.
