Room requests

I have read information about faxing your room requests before we leave and I was planning on doing this. I do have a question, I was going to request a room with a view of the pool or lake at the Beach Club. Will I be charged anything extra if this request is filled? We are doing the land/sea package and this only includes a standard room. I just dont want any extra added expense that im not expecting. Thanks

The subject of asking for free upgrades (standard to water view or standard to king beds) when making requests comes up constantly. The vast majority of time these are not granted. The times that they have been granted have mostly been to people who never even asked. You stand a better chance if you request one at check-in while you are standing there. Your odds are better in slow periods of the year but even then are not guaranteed. Do not set yourself up for disappointment by expecting to get an upgrade. Just because someone else got one doesn't mean you will. Be sure you are ready and willing to stay in the room category you actually reserved. Incidentally, Disney Cruise Line resort reservations are always for standard rooms and are not upgradeable per the DCL contract.

Thank you for your reply, but my question is... Will I be charged extra if the room request is met? I fiqure there is never any harm in asking. No disappointment here.

I have always had my room requests honored and never had to pay anything. They should let you know upon checkin if you will be charged anything extra.
