Room requests???

Hi all!

Do you know if it is true that the earlier you check in, the more likely you are to have success with room/section requests? I really want a cabana room at CSR and we will be checking in at 11:30...thanks!

We stayed at CSR last month and requested Casitas 4 or 5. We arrived at noon for check in and were given a room with a water view in Casitas 5. Hope that helps. I'd fax in your request a day or two ahead just so they have it on record. They have always honored our request everytime we have been there.

We have gotten our room requests each time for the past three years. 2005 & 2006 with "noonish" check-ins, the requests were a breeze. Our last trip (2007) we did not arrive (at CSR) until 5ish. While we did get our request for Casita 3, it took a few CMs and a manager to find us what we were told was the last room in Casita 3. note: We were not insistant on our request, of course-it was the CMs-and more specifically the manager-that were insistant on granting our request. Fantastic CMs at CSR!
