Room requests at CBR - advice please

Hi everyone! I went to do on-line check in and noticed that the only thing we can request are specific buildings, levels, or near transportation/lobby. I was hoping to request to get a murphy bed. We are a family of 5 but technically our son is an "infant." He is a large two year old that turns three a week after we leave Disney. There is no way he will fit in a pack and play! Does anyone have a thought about how I can request that we be assigned a room with a murphy bed? If not, anyone have a suggestion as to what building to request. (a murphy bed would take preference over building but I do not see this as an option - am I missing something?) Thanks so much!

I would call CRO to request the Murphy bed if you don't see an option online. Are you booked standard or preferred or Pirate rooms? If Standard, then I would suggest Jamaica 45 or 44 or Aruba 51. We liked both of these buildings in Jamaica best as they are just across the bridge from the pool and dining and near a bus stop and quiet pool. Aruba 51 and Jamaica 45 are closest to the bridge to OPR, while Jamaica 44 is closer to the quiet pool and bus stop while still close to the bridge.

If you call with requests, I wouldn't make any changes/requests when you do your online check in.

Good luck!

If you Google 'Caribbean Beach Resort map', you will see where everything is located easily and can decide where you would like best.

I believe, many of the rooms now have this Murphy bed (rooms with 2 queen beds plus Murphy). So the odds are in your favor! The rooms that definitely don't have it are the King bed rooms, and I'm not sure about the Pirate rooms (Trinidad)
I would definitely call and request a room with the Murphy bed... However, I think I would put an older kid in it, because I'd worry a two/three year old may be more likely roll out!

I would also call and have them note room with murphy bed as your only request. If you have multiple requests, they may fill one of the other ones before the murphy bed one.

Are you aware that there are no elevators at CBR? You may want to consider making a request for a first floor room too, given you will have a little one along.

We just got back and our room was Jamaica 4514 and it did not have a murphy bed. So I would definitely call and put that as your #1 request.

What number would I call? The resort directly?

There is no way to call the resort directly. Call the Main Reservations line and add the request to your reservation. This can be done any time from the day you book up until 4-5 days out.
