Room requests at BWV...what are my choices?

I think as our trip gets closer, we can check in online and at that time can make some requests for our room. But they're predetermined choices, right? We can't just freestyle our answer, right? It may sound crazy to some but is there a way to request a room close to the parking lot? I don't think that's one of the choices. We like that end of the standard view rooms.

You'll have to call member services to add that type of request. I agree, though; I like that end, too. It's closer to Hollywood Studios, the bus stop, and the parking lot.

Also depends on your view you have booked. You can call and make a request. Keep in mind that requests are not always honored. I was there last month and requested a high floor, and far from elevator. I got 2nd floor near the elevator......I no longer use the word elevator in my request because I think they only see that word. Also with floors shut down during the refurbishment it makes it hard to accommodate everyone. It was all good....of course we also had a room that had not been refurbished yet either.

I like that part of the standard view wing, too. Have always had success requesting near tennis courts or across from the bus stop.

Call MS to add your request and just skip the section for requests if you decide to do the online check-in. If you check any box or type anything on the online check-in section for requests, you'll overwrite the info MS added. MS is the only one who can "free-form" requests. Choices for online check-in were developed for the cash guests and mostly do not apply to the DVC resorts.
