??? Room Request - with 4 families

We are traveling in July with a total of four families - staying at the WL (all in standard rooms). Will we be able to get rooms close by.....not necessarily next to each other but preferably on the same floor. I was going to fax a room request closer to our departure. Can I make a request for us to be close together?

Of course they don't guaranty any requests, they I think the'll put it in the ressie. Remind them at check-in that you would like rooms close together if possible - & especially on the same floor.

I definitely would not wait until check-in in July. You may be hard pressed to get two rooms near each other then let alone four.

Call the front desk about four days prior to your arrival. Tell them what you want. Be sure to have the information needed for all the other families (name, arrival date, departure date and reservation number) so they can link the four of you together.

No I haven't called Magical Gatherings. We had our reservations booked bofore that was offered. Good idea though. I'll give it a try.

They can covert old ressies to Grand Gatherings....just call. The Grand Gatherings planners can be reached at (407) WDW-PLAN.

We went in December with 9 rooms under that plan and got exactly what we wanted....3 sets of connecting rooms (with all the right bed combos), and 3 other rooms very nearby but not connecting. By getting a GG # you ensure all your ressies are linked and put together, and then should be assigned at the same time, and they make an extra effort to get you close to each other.

You may also want to check into their special Grand Gatherings events....lots of fun!!
