Room Request Suggestions for SSR 2BR

We are planning a trip to SSR in a 2BR. Does anyone have any room request suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

SSR is a large resort. It really depends on what is importanat for you. You can choose the Springs - close to the main pool, Artists Palette, Turf Club, Community Hall, last bus stop on and off, etc... Congress Park - has views of Downtown Disney, 4th bus stop, quite pool. The Paddock - mostly water view, tranquil setting, 3rd bus stop, quite pool. Carousel - farthest away from main area of resort, more laid back, 2nd bustop on and off. The Grandstand - close to main area, 1st bus stop on and off, golf course and sassagoula river views, quite pool.

We loved staying in the Grandstand area...very short walk to main bldg/pool/restaurants. I can't remember our room/bldg though. LOL I know it was right next to the new themed pool in Grandstand section. If I remember it ...I will post again. We were also in a 2br. Oh if you post again about bldg numbers in Grandstand that are close to main bldg....that will help you too. We loved loved loved that section.

We loved the springs, middle building. We had 3 kids 5 and under with us AND grandma in a scooter, since she had just broke her pelvis. It was great to be close to everything. We used the zerodepth entry pool, community hall, gym, and Artist's Palette. Also toured the AKV models. All right in short walking distance. To get to DTD, took the boat outside of the Turf club, in main building. If you plan to sit out on your patio a lot, then the springs might not be for you, okay but not a serene view. Otherwise, I loved it. Also nice to go straight to parks once you get on the bus, no other stops. I do recommend looking at a disney copy on the SSR map or use the Unofficial Guide to help you decide on a location to request.
