Room Request suggestions for Disney's Grand Californian.

I did it. I made my reservations for DCA, Theme park view, concierge.

Does anyone have specific rooms I should request for spectacular views or close to the lounge or somewhere less noisy?

We had room 5335 . . . it's on the 5th floor; it faces east with a perfect view of Condor Flats and Grizzly River Rapids; it's only 2 doors down from the Napa Rose elevators. This room has 1 queen + bunk beds with a pull-out trundle. When you're out on the balcony you can hear the park noise, but with the sliding door closed you can't hear anything. It is a bit longer walk from the front desk/lobby area and you have to go outside to get to the elevator lobby, but a short walk to the pool, DCA entrance and Storyteller's Cafe. I requested a room with bunkbeds, with a park view, near an elevator & this room was perfect! (not sure if you can take the lobby elevator & take a long walk to get to this room; when we arrived the bellman used the Napa Rose elevators so we went this way every time).

FYI, I believe the lounge doesn't have a park view; as I understand the layout of the hotel if you have a park view room it's a bit of a walk to where the lounge is. Hope this helps!

We've had a theme park view twice and both times it was overlooking Grizzly River Rapids. Once it was just a little to the left of the park entrance as you walked in or just down from Napa Rose. We were on the 3rd floor. This May we were around the corner, directly looking out at the monorail with Condor Flats and Grizzly Peak out in front a little further. We were on the 4th floor this time. They were both absolutely wonderful. We are going back next month but they were out of theme park view rooms so we are settling for a DD view.
