hi searched here but didn't see any posts so if it's already been answered please let me know where the post is.

What room request should I ask for for blt standard rooms (1 bed and 2 bed are what I'm looking at)? I have three 5 and under so not sure where we should request to stay. Thanks for your help.

It is my understanding that standard rooms are 5th floor and below. If you don't want ground floor, make that request. Some people like that, others don't. Lower floors have views of trees or parking lot. However, if you request an even-numbered room you may or may not be able to see the MK fireworks. But there are other places to see the fireworks...like the walking bridge between BLT and the Contemporary. There are two banks of elevators....so access to parking lot, MK walkway or bridge to monorail are all easy.

what floor is the bridge between blt and contemporary? are there any specific rooms that are standard that we would be able to see mk fireworks? would be great to see them from the room. also how far a walk is it to the elevators? just trying to picture the layout of the rooms on the floors in relation to elevators thanks

BLT elevator...5th floor is the stop for the bridge. A couple of minutes walk from anywhere. Like I said, even numbered rooms face MK. But they are low, so it is a crap shoot. Do a search about room locations on these boards and you will find a wealth of information from many informed and dedicated people. Keep in mind...a request for a room is just that. It is not a guarantee. You can ask....if it is available for your time frame...you might get it. If you don't, find a good place to watch those fireworks. If you are a DVC member, no problem, as you can go to Top of the World.

Can you go to the Top of the World lounge if you are renting points from a DVC member?

Officially you need to be a DVC member to go to the lounge and normally they ask to see a DVC id- if you ask to go there is an off chance depending on who is working you might have the information needed on your room key to get up but officially they should not let you up without a DVC member.
