Room Request Help (How to?)

We are staying at Bay Lake Towers during our trip this May (5/21-5/26). We are not DVC owners and had rented points through David's, rather than making the reservation directly through Disney. I was wanting to make a couple of room requests (i.e. Upper Floor, Even # room, ...) but can't seem to figure out how to do it. I go to the MDE website, then to my reservations page. There is no OBVIOUS way to make requests, but there is a "wish list" link which I've tried several times (over the last 2-3 weeks) and every time it tells me that it is unable to load the wish list for Bay Lake Towers.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is it too early to make room requests?

Can I even make room requests since I'm renting points?

I know that that chances of getting any requests is low, but if I don't make the request the chance is zero.

Since you are renting points requests can only be made by the member. They " own" thr reservation until the moment you check in. Call David's

You may begin accessing Disney's Online Check-In Service immediately to view your reservation details and 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will be able to pre check-in, add room requests and enter information about special occasions you are celebrating during your visit.

Upon arrival, Key to the World cards and other registration materials will be waiting for you at a special welcome location where Cast Members will be available to provide additional information and answer questions. Please note that this service does not guarantee Guest rooms will be ready upon arrival at the resort. Rooms will continue to be available at standard check-in time of 4 p.m.

Please note The Grand Californian is the 1 DVC resort that does not offer online check in.

The choices for requests in the online check-in process are pretty limited, just a few check boxes with generic things. If you have more specific requests, you'll want to have the member call member services for you and add them to your reservation.
