Room Request Help: AKL, wrong room number?

Hi all, I'm looking at the Touring Plans room finder site as well as this room map, and I'm trying to find out if 5465 is a studio or if 5467 is a studio (Uzima Savannah). Each site lists them differently, looks like TP has the room numbers switched, so I think that 5467 is the studio, can anyone confirm? Is there a better source for this?

We're renting points for this stay, we are not owners. It's a big birthday trip, so I'm requesting a room for the first time, via the owner. Can/should I relay that this is a 40th birthday trip through them as well? Is it better to be specific about room requests or give a general area? We'd like to have a decent partial savannah view - we're in a standard room.

It is better to request a general area rather than a specific room number; it is also a request and never guaranteed.

It depends, I have asked for a specific room and got it before at OKW, which was very nice as that room was where we specifically wanted to be, but just let them know your preferences, it can't hurt to ask and be polite.

I contacted TouringPlans to update. If you look at the rooms on both sides they just flipped the room numbers.

It depends, I have asked for a specific room and got it before at OKW, which was very nice as that room was where we specifically wanted to be, but just let them know your preferences, it can't hurt to ask and be polite.

I've never done a room request for a hotel room in advance. This is a special trip, so I figured I would try. Can't hurt!

I just checked and it still appears that they have listed 5465 as a studio...

When I was planning a trip to AKV several years ago, I realized that Touring Plans was a mess for the rooms at Jambo House. Lots of inaccuracies.

I ended up just requesting a view on the Zebra trail if possible. This type of request was suggested by David's Rentals.
