do you find the room requests in advance worthwhile. I've done it the last 2 years and it's hard to say what we would have gotten had I not bothered. Staying at Poly in February if that matters.

It is always a good idea to make any requests in advance as rooms are assigned days before you arrive. We just add the requests to our reservation, though. (I'm not sure if faxes or emails are a reliable way to add requests anymore? Except POR and POFQ, or so I understand.)

You can also use the Touring Plans website's room request feature, which we have found to work well for us.

The only times I've used the room request for online check-in in MDE, we've gotten pretty much exactly what we didn't want. Same with calling and having it noted on the reservation, although this has been a little bit more successful. I've had much greater success using the Touring Plans room request. Usually I don't even bother with the one in the online check-in. If there's one that's really important to me and it matches what I've requested at TP (like near the elevator), I choose only one.
