Room request, early availability

I know you can request room locations, but can you also request earliest available rooms? We have a split stay coming up in December and don’t really care about the room location, is possible to request first available room? TIA

I called today and asked if it was possible to request an early check in and they said yes. So you should just call the WDW phone number and they’ll ask for ur reservation number that was sent to you via email and u can request an early check in.

Just remember that it is only a request, if you arrive on a busy check-in check-out day, there likely won't be an early check-in available.

And you would want them to know you don't have any other requests beside first available.

When you do online check in, there is usually a spot for that. When I do a split stay I always put in I’m arriving at 9 am. This way they know I’d like to be in as early as possible. But December is going to be a tough time to get in early as most places are full to capacity in terms of DVC. I always plan the change day to be my Disney Springs day. We sleep in, check out at 11 and then head there for lunch and shopping. By the time we get to new resort it’s usually 3 ish and have had luck the room is ready!

It can’t hurt but I’ve rarely been able to get in before 4pm.... even with napping and nursing babies and explaining the hope for an early check in (during split stays in the past).

Once we got in early at beach club but that’s just once....

I called today and asked if it was possible to request an early check in and they said yes. So you should just call the WDW phone number and they’ll ask for ur reservation number that was sent to you via email and u can request an early check in.

Dec will be hard since the resorts will be booked up. If you are a DVC member booking through DVC , you call, email or chat with DVC Member Service not WDW. Or just click first available with online check in instead of the other choices. If you are not a member, but rented points, the member must add your request.
