Room request at Pop

Hi everyone

We stayed at Pop last year and had a fab time, but were a little far away from everything. I wondered if it was possible to request a certain room/area of the hotel, and if so how you go about it?

Just got back from POP on Sunday. Booked via Disney UK website and then rang up the customer service number to get a request put on the booking.

Requested top floor, lakeview. Got 3rd (not 4th floor) in the 50s Building 3 looking over the lake. Hotel was full for President's Week/Mardi Gras.

Liked the 50s location, less than 5 minutes walk to food court etc, but reasonably quiet on the side away from the pool (mind you it was bit chilly).

Thought the hotel was fine for the price - pretty clean and good service from the CMs. Best bus service of all Disney hotels we have stayed at. TBH preferred it to POR which we stayed at some years back.

I rang up a week before we arrived and asked for a 50's room on the top floor with a lake view so we could watch the fireworks from our room. We got exactly what I asked for, and we were right on the corner too, so no foot traffic (no one had any need to walk past us), gorgeous view and could see the fireworks.

Before we arrived last time we put in a request but we didn;t get what we asked for instead we got all the way back in the 80s section which we actually loved but the walk was too long! So this time we have booked prefered room so hopefully get closer to the classic hall and make the most of our mugs and our legs

Make sure you choose a preferred room and then give them a ring to make any request if you favour a sepcific building etc.
