We are counting the days....13 to go!

Which building should we request in Jamaica. We are a large group, 24 rooms booked. Many children of all ages. Would be nice to be close to bridge, and the bus stop. I am assuming it will be long days when we get back with many of us carrying tired children off a bus and would be nice not to have to walk too far at the end of the day!

We would definately want non-smoking also.
Do I have the correct fax # 407-934-3288.

I did try and do a search for this info but there were so many to read through that my kids are bothering me to make them lunch!
Thought it might be easier to post the question.

Thanks!!!

This info would be helpful to me also as I am staying at the CBR in Nov. How soon can you fax your request in?

I know this has been asked a million times, but how exactly do you request the room. I know the faxing thing has gotten rid of, I think. So should I just call CBR like a month before to request?

We are just back from CBR, literally drove in about 2 hours ago. We were in Jamaica Bldg 4361, nice corner room.It was convenient for us because we drove everywhere and we were pretty close to the parking lot. But we were farther from the bridge than some of the other buildings. We stayed here 9 years ago on our honeymoon and this was our first time back to the CBR since. It is still just as quiet and pretty as we remembered. Sorry I'm not much help, I hope you have a wonderful trip.

You probably want to stay in Jamaica 45. That looks closest to the bridge. Here's a map to look at: http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/cbrmap1.jpg

I've stayed there twice in the past 13 months, I just faxed a room request a few days before we arrived. We got all our requests. I don't know how that would work w/such a big group, though. I'd probably just be happy if all 24 rooms would be in the same village. -Stephanie

I would contact Central reservations and mention the fact that there are 24 rooms in your party and that you would like to all be in the same area.

For anyone else call central reservations and have your requests put into your reservation.

The CM's are also very good at granting requests at check in.

We were in Jamaica 45 which was close to bridge and we had a non smoking room so I know 45 has them.
Note on your reservation the requests for Jamaica, building # and the non smoking pref and you can ask again at check in. They wont guarantee but we have learned that cm's will do their best. :)

DH and I are heading back to CBR for our fourth stay - you should definitely, like others have suggested, request Bldg. 45 in Jamaica. We got a great free upgrade last May to Room 4556 (corner room with a waterview) and we were thrilled.

You should fax over your request no sooner than 3 days prior to your arrival and fax it at 4:00 pm or later (this way it won't interfere with CM trying to check people in and out) - and yes, you have the correct fax number.

Have fun!!!!

We were in Jamaica 4245 and thought it was great! Not too far from OPR or the bus stop. And we loved seeing the beach in the morning!

I highly suggest having your requests noted in your reservation. More and more resorts are not looking at the faxes. At least with it in your reservation they don't have to match up the fax to your reservation. It is already there.

If at check in you don't get your request you can always ask nicely for any requests. The CM's love to keep you happy.
