Room Request AKL:Savannah

OK..I know it would only be a request but can people give us room #'s for 2 adults (one who is a little cranky about walking far) Would like to see animals and would not like to hear any non African sounds( ie generators. )What were your fav rooms and why??

Don't have room numbers for you, but I have found that I prefer rooms on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor is on the same level as the lobby - so you'd save time by not having to wait for elevators. You'd only need an elevator to go to the pool/restaurants. I'd request 3rd floor, close to the lobby and you should be fine. They drive through all the savannah's a few times a day with trucks to clean and drop off food so there is really no room that will be completely non-african sound free.

I 2nd the third floor. We stayed there, and gosh, I wish I could remember the room number for you, but it was perfect! Somewhere between 3252-3285, according to Deb's. It was close enough to the lobby for the walk not to be a pain after a long day in the parks, but far enough away to not have the noise of the lobby. We had giraffes and kudu, and it was fantastic!

Nope, I don't want the third floor, because you get all the foot traffic walking down the hall to the elevators.

We had the perfectly located room last time we were there. Can't give you the room number, but it was on the fourth floor, in the hallway to the left behind the front desk. On the left side. You're over a water hole, and the giraffes slept there most nights. We walked in, walked up the front stairs, down the hall, right to the room. It was the best! (You might try second floor, but I don't remember if there are steps going down right there....)
