Hi, What's the best way and time (ie one week prior, two weeks prior or earlier) to make a specific request for a room at the resorts? What gets the best results - e-mail or phone? We are going to the BCVillas and have an idea of where we would like to be located. Thanks

Call CRO or DVC - depending on where you booked - and have your request noted on your reservation. You can do that now if you want. Requests are not guaranteed.

Don't make a request for a specific room - if it isn't available, they could put you anywhere. Make a request for an area - higher or lower floor, certain side of resort, etc.

DVC resorts do not accept faxes or phone calls. Your requests must be noted on your reservation.

CRO is the Disney Central Reservations Office. Where you call to get a room (non-DVC), 407-W-DISNEY.

Are you staying on DVC points or did you pay Disney cash for the villas? If you are renting points from a member, the member must make the requests for you. You cannot make any requests if you are not a member. If you are staying on points, MS will not put any specific room on your request - it needs to be somewhat general such as non-smoking, non-handicapped, water view, woods view, etc.
