but what is the best way to request through members service? Should I suggest specific room numbers or views?

Think of it like you are the room assigner.

A guest requested by room numbers, those rooms are not available, I can put you anywhere.

We always request what gives us the most rooms that meet your preference, water view, pool view, etc.
