Helping out my aunt. She is 68 and will be taking her 2 sons, 1 daugther in law and 2 kids (6 and 11) in March.

What hotels would you recommend for a suite that would accomidate all of them?

She is considering 2 rooms at a deluxe also and I can help her figure out those hotels, I am just not clear on 2 room suites.

Thanks!

Look into booking a villa. Either a 1 or 2 bedroom would be my suggestion. You can always compare the cost to 2 deluxe rooms/suites.

Outside of DVC, she might look into the Deluxe Rooms at the Wilderness Lodge - they accomodate 6 people. Also the All Star Music Suites accomodate 6.

You would actually need a 2BR villa at any of the DVC resorts. 1BR's only hold 4 people. With the villas you get a washer & dryer in the room and a full kitchen which is nice for stocking drinks and snacks-- and cooking if you want to :confused3:

I stand corrected. :)

I think they would be much more comfortable in a villa as well. We looked at them in August and they look awesome! Not sure how busy they are in the part of March she is going in but she might want to look into renting points on the DVC board. The deluxe room at BW also sleeps 6 and is CL. I think it would be a bit grating on the nerves though with 4 adults in that close of quarters. JMHO

there is also the option of a Wilderness Cabin.

That would be a Ft Wilderness cabin and not a Wilderness Lodge cabin since a Wilderness Lodge cabin does not exist. The cabins are located at Ft Wilderness.

Thanks for the help ...... I don't know much about villas. Which ones have 2 bedroom suites (I guess I don't know which ones even are villas). She will be booking with a TA or Disney, she won't buy DVC points so that isn't an option.

Thanks!

The Villa's are part of the Disney Vacation Club. Saratoga Springs, Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk Inn, Old Key West, Animal Kingdom (under construction), & Beach Club all have villas ranging from
Studio
Sleeps 4

One-Bedroom
Vacation Home
Sleeps 4

Two-Bedroom
Vacation Home
Sleeps 8

Grand Villa
Sleeps 12

You can reserve these just like a room reservation at one of the WDW Hotels. I hope this was helpful.

A travel agent can book those for her. They release a certain # of DVC rooms. If she can afford it, personally I'd be sure to book two seperate rooms at a Deluxe. Somewhere, maybe CR or POLY where they arer close to evertything (which is good for both a 68 yr old as well as the kiddies). I just think she may find it easier if she had a room "away" from the kids etc.
