Room recommendation for BWV?

We're staying at the Boardwalk Villas next month and I was wondering if anyone had any particular room location information?

We are leaning towards requesting a room overlooking the Boardwalk instead of the pools. Any thoughts?

Hi,

We just returned from the BWV on Feb. 2. I too requested a Boardwalk View. I however got a 2 bedroom with the quiet pool view. I was disappointed, but my son was thrilled because he could lie in his bed at night and view the Tower of Terror. All in all, it worked out fine. I would never again use the extra points to reserve a preferred view as you are not guaranteed a boardwalk view.

There are very few rooms with a BW view. I've always asked and never gotten one, even when booking 11 months out.

Anymore I've decided I'd rather save the points and book standard view and overlook the front entrance, go out the end door and across the street and you're a the bus stop. Plus it's very quiet.

I have to agree with the 2 previous posters...regardless of your request, it is unlikely you will get a boardwalk view. Having requested the bw view when booking a preferred view, and getting everything but, we now book standard view if possible. I wish you luck!
