Hi all,
I have stayed at the on sight hotels about 10 times or so, but this week will be our first stay with our 18 month old along. When we have checked in early and gone to the parks we have sometimes had our room ready at 11 am, but the last few times it was about 4 pm before we got our room designation. I know we can't "expect" to have early access to our room, but it would be AWESOME to let the baby take a nap in the room. (Usually around noon) So, should I just ask VERY nicely at check-in to get a room that's available early? I was considering tipping the front desk person. I know that might not help, but it can't hurt to give them some cash for their trouble. Any thoughts on this? Anyone ever tip a front desk person? I tip everyone else ( valet, bellman, maids) so why not them? Thanks for the advice!
