Hi -

Anyone going the week of 2/15/03? It is considered peak time, but the only time we can go. All Star Movies would be $109 per night. From what I've read, it's really high! Just wondered what other rates people might have got for that week for Disney resorts??

They usually come out w/discounts for Jan & Feb time of year. Book something now and wait and see if discount codes become available more towards that time. Then you can cancel the original room res and make a new one!

Check www.MOUSESAVERS.com for current updates on discounts and when they are available

We're staying at CBR 2/18-2/25 and are paying $159 tax included using our AAA discount. Without the discount I was quoted $169 plus tax (rack rate) through CRO. I also hope to find a lower rate. Historically what are the chances of discount codes becoming available for this peak time? Thanks.

I'd like to know as well. We are staying at FW and I couldn't apply a DC discount for my time period (2/16-2/27) Hate to pay full rate but I am beginning to think I may not get a discount...

:D I saw DC rates had come out for 03 and so I called and had a night held at WL for one night before our cruise. I booked Jan 30 for $187,but am watching for discount codes to be released. I think that time is still value season.

Atleast I have a room held!!;)

If I remember correctly, the best discounts for that time period end @ Feb. 11 or 12(definitely before Valentine's Day). My wedding anniversary is the 16th, and I have tried planning a long weekend-type getaway, but discovered I had to check-in by the Wednesday before Valentine's Day to get the discount. We managed a trip without the kids once during that time-frame using our DVC points, and the weather and crowds were great! My advice would be to book the room, but not airfare, and wait to apply the discounts later.

While I know this is peak season and I too have a ressie at the Poly 13-18. Was hoping to get some kind of code or something during this time frame.

After talking to my Dream Rep this week she changed my ressie to 12-18 without any code or discount I am saving $115 a night. By adding one day to our vacation. If their is any way you can leave before the 13 you will get a cheaper rate and it will be for the whole trip.

I am still hoping to get an additional savings, AP, Code or Disney Club.

I went this past President's Week but checked in on February 11 and last day of value season was February 12. All codes that had come out ended on February 12. Most likely the only discounts available will be DC, AAA & maybe AP?. We're going again but checking in on February 12, 2003 which is the last day of value season. We do this purposely to get the lower rates and hopefully codes!:D

When is Presidents Week in 2003?

I, too, wanted to plan a little Valentines Day weekend at WDW- but not if it is during Presidents Week

Hi,

We'll also be going in Feb. 16th-24th and I booked with AAA discount at Port Orleans (15% off rack rate-same as DC discount but easier to cancel). The same rate for All Stars but for some reason All Star Movies seems to discount fewer rooms or everyone picks Movies first, so you may have to go with Sports or Music.

If I were you I'd book with any discount you can get for now but be careful with DC. Be sure you get your deposit back if you cancel.

Good Luck and see you at the World!

Carolb3: AP is Annual Pass (Parks)

Wish upon a Star: Valentine's Day is on the Friday before President's Day. That weekend gets very busy!
