Room rate question

I already have a room booked at RPR for November but I just received an email with a promotion code for 40% off if you call to book a room during that time period. Does anyone know, if I call now with the code, will they lower the rate of my already booked room?

They will cancel and rebook for you...IF there are rooms left for that promotion at that resort for your dates.we did that for our trip last week.

Great, I'll do that then! Thanks. I got a free upgrade for being a You First member. Do you know if that will affect the upgrade or benefits in any way if I book with this discount? Honestly, I'd rather save the money anyway over the water view upgrade I got.

It shouldn't affect the benefits but you might lose your upgrade.

it won't be an issue.
the pin code is from UO, the upgrade is a Loews member perk.

as long as a standard room is available when you call to adjust your rate, you won't have any problems.



call and talk to them on that number that is listed in the email.

I did call and got the discount but they couldn't give it to me on my upgraded room for whatever reason. So I am back to a standard 2 queen room rather than a king waterview. But I saved about $220 total so I'm happy with that! I can do a lot with that money on my trip.

i assumed you wouldn't lose the free upgrade.

but, you are now saving money and that is a good thing!
