Room only vs package question

I was booking a trip for the beginning of 2020 and I had a package price, somehow at checkout I ended up booking room only. Didn’t seem like a big deal except that the deposit was a lot more than $200 which is what led me to realize my mistake. I usually do a package other than last year when we rented DVC points. I then added a day on the beginning of the trip and owed even more. I’d like to go ahead and add the park hoppers and turn it into a package.

If I add tickets does it become a package and I don’t owe for the tickets until 30 days out? Is it something I can do online. I don’t hear well and try to avoid doing business on the phone if st all possible or I have to three way in an adult child or my DH.

I’d like to wait a few months to pay this off, I’d have to buy the tickets >60 days out anyway. Is this something I can change on my own?

If you don't want to deal with anyone on the phone and prefer to do it online then the easiest way to handle it would be to cancel the room only reservation and book a new package reservation. Otherwise, you would need to call reservations to change your room only into a package by adding park hopper tickets. You can't make that change yourself online.

That's what I would do. Book the package and then cancel the room only
