For those of you that have had a room-only, then a package reservation at the same WDW hotel one after another, did you get to keep the same room? Was it a hassle, or is this done enough that the CM's are familiar with it? Also, would faxing a room request with both confirmation numbers listed help in ensuring the same room?

Thanks in advance.

We have done the package first and then room only. When checking in we would mention that we had a continuing reservation for the room only night. You need to go back and check out and in, but we have never had a problem and have been in the same room. We are using it again this year and hope all goes as smoothly as it has in the past. Good luck and have a great time!:earsgirl:

When I called CRO to verify some things on my reservation, the cm told me to do the same thing and just mention that I have a room only and I will be continuing my reservartion. Hopefully it will help (unless you get a room you don't want the first night , then maybe the second room would be nicer-lol)

We've done this twice and were able to stay in the same room both times. The first time we had a slight problem, but out came our paperwork that I brought and *poof* no more problem (they'd said that we'd paid for standard room first night, king room with the package - we'd paid for a king the whole time). You can check-in for the package as soon as the computers are set for the day, I was told around 7 am and we've always checked-out/in around 7/7:30. Have fun:D
