Room only reservation discount questions

We are planning to book a package for free dining October 23-30. Our arrival day is Oct 22 so our plan is to book a room only for that night. If a discount comes out this month, can we call to have it applied, or will it not qualify because of our free dining package?

Room-only is a separate reservation. It will qualify for whatever discount it qualifies for, regardless of any other package you may or may not have. The subsequent FD package will have nothing to do with it.

However, realize that a room-only at the same resort, in the same booking category, may not be available under the discount that comes out. You may need to be flexible and change resorts or categories.
