Has anyone had any trouble booking a room only res. through the WDTC? I read on mousesavers that they consider room only to be a basic plan and they add mini golf tickets to it. Which therefore turns it into a package and makes it more difficult to cancel. Where do you book room only? I need to know because I need to be able to cancel with as few penalties as possible. In case on of us gets the flu or something.

Just make sure to politely ask for room-only. If they start talking about making a deposit of $200 or full payment by 45 days, they are giving you a package. You should only need one nights deposit, and be able to cancel up to 5 days before.

I have always requested a room-only reservation with no problems. Like the previous poster said, make sure the cancellation policy is 5 days and your deposit should be only one night + tax.

Thank you. I have never booked a Disney resort and I want to make sure that I do it correctly.
