Room Only Rates - WITHOUT an AP?

Howdy Folks,

Can anyone advise how to get Room Only Rates WITHOUT an AP?.

I had an AP Dream, but it expired earlier this month (June). I'm looking to return to DLRP in November and am currently trying to price it all up.

I'm interested in 'renewing' (re-purchasing) my AP when I visit - so would be keen to get a room-only pricing.

I want to stay at Seq. Lodge however, so HI etc isn't an option.

I've seen the other thread where another member managed to get a room-only rate subject to renewing/purchasing an AP PRIOR to check-in. Struggling to find a CM willing to even discuss that on the regular Call Centre numbers (08705 030303) - although will try the AP number this evening.

You can get room only rates on Expedia for Dis hotels as well as HI etc

we looked at expedia before i booked room only through disney direct, the only difference in price is that you wont get the annual pass discount on the room. We paid £51 for room only (Santa Fe) per night and it was £68 on expedia. I would keep trying the call centre, the CM's dont have much annual pass knowledge/info but they are very good at calling the AP office and then getting back to you. We are either going to order the AP's before we go (i have ordered about 5-6 application packs as i didnt know they would take about 3 weeks to arrive so i keep phoning asking for more!) or we are going to arrive at the parks and buy the annual passports before we check-in on the first day. The CM said it was fine to book room only with the discount as the check-in will need to see the annual passes before check in and that is why we will get the discount. I have t say i spoke to about 4 people before i found one that would let me book RO with AP discount without the AP number, so def keep trying and just explin that you will be puchasing the AP's the day you arrive or through the application process before you travel. good luck...

Hi Again,

Anyone managed to get a Room-Only rate for November from Disney? (Expedia UK also doesn't list it as yet).

I'm being told that information hasn't been released as yet (I'm asking for pricing based on a AP Dream).

Any thoughts on when it will be available?
