room only PIN to Free Dining

Does anyone know if you book a room with a 40% PIN and later free dining is offered for the same week- can you switch and pay more for the room and get the free dining without canceling

Each package has a certain number of rooms assigned to it. If FD is available for your resort/room type then yes. Once the FD rooms are gone, you might have to switch to another resort to get the FD package (so call early!)

I am in the same situation as you-waiting for free dining-but we are in a value and currenly using the 20% Pin (bigger discount not good on our dates). Was told on these boards that to change to FD, the original reservation (wth the deposit of one night per room) is cancelled, deposit refunded and they start over with a new reservation, since FD is considered a "package" rather than a room only reservation, since you have to purchase an admission ticket per person to get the FD.
