Room only for one night in October

what would be the best way to go about getting most cost effective room only reservation for October. My friend is staying currently up until 10/6 at CSR on free dining promo. They want to stay one more night now so they want a room only reservation. What are the expert thoughts on this?

that reads wrong... they are not currently there... I bet she wishes she was They arrive September 29th and staying until the 6th of October but want to stay until the 7th

Since they're already staying on a FD promo they could try adding one night to their current res.

They could book a room only reservation at their current resort or a value resort - check to see if there are any room rate discounts available.

They could book offsite at someplace less expensive.

Getting the "most cost effective room only reservation" comes with a certain amount of inconvenience, such as having to check out and in again (same resort), packing up and moving to a different room or different resort, or moving offisite and not having DME to the airport if they are flying.
