Room only discount code club

I'm running the Wine & Dine marathon and desperately need a code for 10/1. Annual Pass is offering ZERO discount for this date

We have a discount at BCV 9/28 to 10/1, I moved to Pop at Rack for 10/1, and AP discount for 10/2. Its frustrating, so I just moved to Pop and am paying $201.27 for 2 nights standard room which makes the hurt not so bad. I'll wave to you when you pass Pop for the Marathon.

There has been no general public release for a room only discount for that time frame.

I'm in for a room discount from 12/17 to 12/23 even though I was eligible for free dining since I booked before the dates changed. I would much prefer to see what a RO discount would do to the total price since I have never done a dining package at all and it seems like a ton of food!!

When I heard about overtime for the free dining, the CM knew about the overtime 2 weeks out. Mid-September if it comes.

I've heard that it's generally only a couple days. Not sure how reliable that is. But the blogs sometimes pick up the rumors in that timeframe. My guess right now would be next week, not tomorrow.

While I am still very new to the DIS boards, I tend to agree. While some resorts have sold out of FD rooms for certain periods, there is still availability at some of these same resorts for the same period, if you book without FD. How much availability - only Disney knows...I'm not sure when the RO discounts came out last year for the fall period, but since FD came out later this year compared to last year, it would only make sense that Disney is trying to hold back. For those looking for RO discounts here's some

Last year it was Aug 16th. They've definitely delayed this year. And in the mean time they've sent several batches of targeted pins. New batch arrived yesterday.

Room only is rare for that time frame. Most that I've seen in the past have expired on 12/17 or so.

Received a targeted PIN (in DMIL name, who's not coming) for most of the fall dates (Oct - 11/18 and 11/26 through 11/17) for 25 % value and mod, and 35 % off deluxes.

Don't know for sure of course, but I tend to believe that targeted PINs are precursors to GP deals.

I believe this is the second round of PIN's go to out for these dates. Maybe Disney is trying to fill the rooms this way rather than a GP.
What happened to the Disney Visa discounts this year? There hasn't been one in quite some time?

My tip for trying to get a better deal....

I just called to make my hotel reservation and I was booking the Disney All Star Movies because unfortunetly after everything else, that is what my budget allowed for. The CM said I had a pop up offer to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort for a cheaper price.. I went to book and I wasn't able to because their computers were updating

So I called back a couple of hours later and the CM I had on the phone said I couldn't get the deal anymore because they couldn't get them back if it was just a pop up... back to All Star Movies I go...

While finishing up my booking, guess what pops back up at the same price
Caribbean Beach Resort I booked immediately before it could slip away again.

A family of 4 at the Caribbean Beach Resort for 1 night, 1 day base ticket, and deluxe dining came to $640.00... I think I got a good deal (I hope ) So looks like try to book a value and see if anything *POPS* up!

So glad that is done

Yes and when I called to make a change to an existing reservation the system was down and they took my name and number and will call me back within 24 hours.

Well, i'm not sure I would read to much into that. This system is *always* going down.

I also wouldn't wait for them to call you.

Oh I know it's always going down but I thought that combined with the link that was posted is a good sign for a discount coming out. And yes I know better than to wait for them to call me .... I was calling to make a very minor change and if it doesn't happen it really isn't a big deal. I'm already booked with DVC points and an ap discount but pixie dust to all of you waiting for a code!!!
