Room Only Discount and Date Change Question

I have already booked for the Enchantment offer but called to possibly change dates. They told me I could not change dates under that code because it is no longer available even though I already booked under it. Is this true? Thanks

If you change dates it goes in as a whole new reservation. So if the deal is no longer available then you will loose it.

They changed this a few years ago. You used to be able to.

I use to work at the DRC and daily I would get guests angry by having to tell them this, it does kind of make sense if you think about it, your booking that package (which has a book by date) which consists of room, tix or ddp. If you are changing outside of that date or are making the change AFTER the discount is no longer offered (they always list the dates of travel along with their book by dates) you wont get that discount.

Im sorry it was a disappointment maybe you can keep your eye out for another discount

You can call and ask to speak to someone in guest services. If the new dates fall within the original promo dates, guest services might be able to modify your existing reservation (pending availability), even though the promo has expired. However, if the new dates are outside the promo dates, changing the dates will make you lose the discount.
