Room Only Code Rate Last May For Pop?

We have ressies for POP from may 19-25 2005. Just wondering if anyone can remember what the room only rate was for last May? I currently have an AAA rate which helps some. I know that codes are not always available. Thanks!

We had an AP rate of $59 a night this year at POP.

This year will be our first lokking for general public room only codes. In the past DH had an AP so we could get thoise. This year he decided not to renew it.

This may sound crazy, but I suggest ordering a vacation video from their site and putting it in someone elses name (child?), and when it asks how many times you've been to Disney, say once. I know for a fact that is how my 2yo dd started getting room-only postcard rates! And, of course, we had to take them up on the offer! So, we are going back in December with a postcard room only rate!

How do you check in in your daughter's name? I've been told it must be booked in the name of the person on the code and that person must be an adult. Disney "rules" never seem to be the same depending on who one speaks with when making the reservation.

I've been to Disney many, many times and received 4 codes this year, normally about one a yr.

Guess we'll never figure out just how Disney does such things or many it is all random?

I had no problem making the reservation in my name. Of course, we have the same last name, so I guess they don't care, as long as they are getting the business! If you're worried it may not work, put the video request in the other adults name (not the one that it's usually in, and may already have a credit card on file...), and remember to list 1 visit only! It definitely can't hurt!!!
