Room Location SSR

We are thinking about a quick 4 day trip in October and are thinking about trying SSR. What buildings would you recommend for a frist time stay?

I know most people like the Grandstand or the area that faces Downtown Disney, but we were there in March and I really liked the Carosel area- it was far away from the Carriage House but the second bus stop- we always got seats! It is pretty quiet there.

Thanks for the info. This is going to be quick anniversay trip. We were just there for 9 days in July and I miss it already. Since our annual passes ran out we were thinking that staying close to DTD would be a great option.

If you want to literally be close to DTD then you want Congress Park. We just returned and were in the Springs and it was a great location

We liked our Paddock Room. It was next to the busstop and next to the Paddock Pool.

We just returned from 8 days at SSR and were in the Grandstand section. If you want to be close to DTD I would stay at Congress Park. The walk to DTD is not bad at all.......

Another vote for Congress Park

What I like the most is the view and walk to DTD....its great. We spend alot of time just walking over there, getting food and bringing back to the picnic table area by the playground in the quiet area....its a nice way to end the day.

I agree with jblrn2b we were in the Paddock building and we walked out our door and out the side door and we were at pool and bus stop.

We have stayed a couple of times in the Congress Park area and enjoyed it very much. The pool in that area is beautiful and was never crowded. Nice hot tub, too...
