I know I used to be able to select room request and stuff even though it's not guaranteed, but I tried doing it now. I clicked on it and it doesn't show anything. Any ideas?

Disney has jacked the online room request feature all to heck lately. I’d highly recommend calling and having your requests noted on your reservation, don’t mess with the online check-in options. Whatever they are doing behind the scenes has made it all but unusable.

Good luck!

Thanks. I will give em a call. I booked the trip back in April or May. My fiancee got injured on her head so her walking isn't great. Just last week, her mom got into a car accident, car is totaled, and now she's injured. Both of them can barely walk long. That's the reason for trying to request features.
I hope Disney can accomodate. This year has been very stressful and I think Disney is the only way to get away from reality.

The online request form was only ever good for very basic requests; it was just a series of checkboxes.

For a situation like yours, where there's a medical need, you definitely want to call and have the reservation agent enter the request.

Will they have a wheelchair or scooter for the parks? That is much more walking! I understand the need for a close room as well.

I don't think they need a wheelchair or scooter, but definitely won't be able to walk much. So we will be just strolling here and there. Nothing crazy.

I always note it on my reservation and then I will send a fax about 6-7 days prior to our trip.

Yep, it seems the location request feature of online check in has officially bit the dust - as they are currently offering...no choices.
Several months ago I chuckled when the options included choices not relevant to the resort - people staying at GF, AKL, etc. were getting 'near the paddock' on their menu of choices, which was irrelevant to their resort as it's an area at SSR.

The Touring plans website can send a fax room reservation request as well, you might want to try that.

Can you use the Touring Plans fax if you use a travel agent? I usually do my own thing, but I’m testing my edges letting a TA do the booking this time.

This is very irritating. You can't even make an online payment. Thank goodness I have the touring plan fax option. The touring plans fax didn't help get us the room we requested in April. Hopefully, it will come through this time. I already added requests via the phone with Disney.

I enjoyed a recent Bay Lake Tower stay, and noted a few requests with a phone concierge that called to confirm my plans.

At resort arrival I asked the front desk cast member to read the notes back to me; it wasn't even close to the original room request.

Oh well, I'll go back to sending in my fax's on my grayscale "See You Real Soon," letterhead.
