This will be our first time at the Poly. Any suggestions about room location or specific room #s? What area or rooms do YOU prefer?

Thanks for your tips!

We just returned and absolutely loved our room. It was Samoa, Rm 1604, right next to the pool and few steps from the beach and Captain Cook's snack bar. The best!!!

Thanks for the great suggestions. Will call and request this room tonight! (And see what happens when we get there)

We stayed in Rapa Nui in May '03. It was a little far from the pool and the GCH, however, it was a quick hop to the TTC. It was also very quiet! Another plus is there is a parking lot outside the building so we never had to request valet parking. And, I don't know why, but our room had a fridge in it, and one was in our relative's room next door as well. We did not request one, nor did we pay for them, but it was nice having them for the week.

In the future I would request Samoa or Tokelau. But Samoa may be loud. Tokelau would be a nice compromise.

The Poly is wonderful! Enjoy your trip. (And don't do laundry in the morning when everyone else does. )

One more suggestion - Roratonga! Close to both Volcano pool and Quiet pool, laundry, Neverland Club, and Captain Cook's. We had a garden view facing the parking lot, but with all the lush vegetation around the Poly, could only see the Monorail whizzing by up high! It was beautiful!

Enjoy!

We LOVED our view from the 3rd floor of Fiji. Here are three pictures taken from our balcony. :earsgirl:

Great Location. We had second floor about 2-3 rooms to the right (as you look at the Grand Ceremonial House) from your location when we were there in June. Great sunrise location.
