We'll be staying at the Nick Hotel in January for a whole week. Yes, I've read the mixed reviews, but my husband will be attending a conference and it's one of the less expensive and more family-friendly hotels on the conference shuttle route, so we'll risk it!

Anyway, I have a DD (4) and a DS (2) and while we'll squeeze in plenty of Nick Hotel festivities here and there, we DON'T plan to spend much of our play time in the hotel. Rather, we will be park hopping and the like. HOWEVER, we WILL need to SLEEP!! Both at night (hubby would especially appreciate that) and for afternoon naps.

SO, question is, where should we request our room be located? Main considerations are SLEEP (the quieter the better of course), cleanliness (is one building better than another?), and maybe proximity to age-appropriate activities (like is one pool area better than another for the toddler/preschooler set?).

Thanks!

We stayed there in March. The building I want is Building 6 facing the "pond" toward the mall area. It is away from the Parking lot and toward a peaceful pond. I will say though, we were facing the highway toward Marriot World Hotel and it was very quiet. I think as long as you are on the outside, you will be fine.

I always ask for ground floor, I like building 8, facing the parking lot.

They do close the pool down so even if you are facing the pool it is quiet overnight.
