Which buildings are closest to the activity pool? The one that looks like it has water toys for kids? Also anyone know if we can take our own pool air mattress floats? Does the activity pool have a snackbar and drink bar at it?

I can't find my resort map right now, but I called the resort and had them fax me a copy of the site layout. It shows bldg numbers, restaurants, pools etc.

I called them to ask if we could request a specific bldg/property location. She said you cannot make requests in advance but rather at check in. No guarantee that your requests will be fully honored but said they'd do their best. In addition, we are moving from a Disney property over to MGV during our stay and asked if it would be okay to check in late at night after the Illuminations show. She recommended that we check in early before going to the parks and storing our luggage since our room will most likely not be ready at 7:00 AM, but said the earlier we make our requests, the more apt we are to getting them. If we wait until late in the evening the inventory will already be allocated to other guests. We'll be in FL from 5/19-5/28/09... and CANNOT wait!

We will be at the MGV at the same time. Hoping we can hit Star Wars weekend. Have you stayed at MGV before? This will be our first time there but it looks very nice. Very excited too!
