Room keys / Park tix?

It's my first trip to a DVC resort. Does my room key serve as my park ticket? Or do they give me a separate park pass when I pay at checkin? If they're separate I'll probably buy my park tix at Disney Store before I leave. But if room keys and park tix are one and the same I'll wait since it seems more convenient that way.

We liked having our separate Dm with a MYW and we have the PAP's.

But if they are regular MYW or the voucher from the Disney store then they should be able to transfer your ticket options onto the KTTK cards.

I'm not really sure if you can buy tickets at the DVC front desk ,I think Concierge takes care of that for you.

we bought our tickets from aaa
and when we got to disney they just put them right on room key
so our key was for room dining plan and park entry

You may want tobuy tickets from a reseller , cheaper than Disney.
We have done that they put it on your room key. We have left over days from last years that were put on our room, we will have them transferred to our new room key when we check in.
Very easy to do.
